Changes

Hey folks,
its been 2 1/2 weeks since I left Berlin. I came back to Torquay with the expectation that everything will be the same like meeting with my international friends or sometimes with my German friends.. I was soo wrong.
Like I said before, Westlands School accepted some new exchange students, most of them Germans of course. On the assembly on Monday the head teacher told us that we will get five more.. One of them is a Italian as far as I know.

Cooking at my place :3
Soo lots of new people here. Last Sunday I invited some of the new German exchange students including Chiara, Annika, Rami and Katharina to my place and we cooked some nice Asian dishes :3
Rami and Katharina came along with Quentin, Chiara and Annika to Torquay. I didnt talked to them much at the beginning but now we also get to known each other very well and I have to say that they are nice as well. Obviously, otherwise I wouldnt invite them to come over xD

The result :D
So we met at Tesco and bought all the important ingrediants such as rice, noodles and vegetables, we planned to cook stir fried noodles with vegetables and egg fried rice with chicken :D
Cooking with them is really funny, we talked and joked a lot, it was awesome. I really like them. After eating and cleaning up we went back to my room and some fun if you know what I mean xD
Basically, I had a good start in the new year, I thought at first that I would miss Berlin a lot but thats not the case. I miss my friends, I would totally freak out if they would visit me here :D

I nearly cried.. :D Unfortunately only Chinese people will get it. :(
You are maybe asking yourselves why I titled my article as "Changes", it has the following reason:
My sociology teacher asked us international students on Monday if we think that we changed since we arrived here in England. To be honest, I think I changed a lot. I turned from the little, innocent Chinese boy into a different person. I am more open minded and the most important part - I think personally that I got more adult. I got so much more confidence here, I learned to live on my own and to rethink my decisions twice. I love my parents who allowed me to take part at this exchange year here, I cant imagine to live without this experience.

Pokerevening :D
I got so much new friends and gained so much experience which will help me a lot through my future life.
Thats everything for today, I am currently struggeling about what I should write... I will report as much as I can but seriously.. Nothing special is happening here in Torquay xD I will write more about Torquay next time I think.. So, I hope you enjoyed reading and see you soon again :)

New Arrivals

As announced, some new exchange studends arrived at Tuesday. We got one new French guy, one new Swiss guy, one new Austria girl and seven new Germans... Alright, as open minded as I am, I introduced myself to some of them and I have to say that three of them are really really nice. There is this Swiss guy called Quentin ( half Swiss, half French) who is living near me and this Austria girl called Chiara who is living at the sister of my hostmums place, also near me and a German girl called Annika who lives near the school. They are really really nice. More multicultural friends, yay!! :D

Waiting for lunch :3

At the first day Florian and Paul and I showed them the most important store in town.. Caffe Nero!! :D But unfortunatly there were too many people inside so we had to back up to another caffe which is not in the same league as Caffe Nero -.-
We talked, get to known each other. It was a day full of happiness, joy and laughter, and I wish it will be the same many many month after :) I really enjoyed meeting them, since they are also part of Westlands School now. In the evening I showed Chiara her way home since she is new and she lives on my way home. At the second day we went with them to the most relaxing place in Torquay, the cliffs near the harbour.

Why dont we go swimming? :D
We climbed and took several pictures :) I am walking by the way with Chiara and Quentin to school now, but only if its not raining :3 We also went to the beach yesterday evening with the internationals and some English people, in the end we were about 30 people o.O The new exchange students can enjoy a very big advantage to come here 4 month later than we because we can show them everything they want and stuff :D
Let me briefly describe you those three guys:

Chiara:
From all of the new exchange students I like her most. She is a funny, a beautiful girl, and I have never seen anyone non Asian with so dark eyes like her.. Soo amazing!! Overwhelmed by the English students she decided in the end to join us at the first day.. Wise choice since we are better and we have a better connection :P

Quentin:
The most sympathic guy with French genes I have ever met. He is funny, has a funny accent and is also polite, in my opinion :D I talked with him on the first day and realized that he is living near me, so I begged that he shall be cool - and he is ;)

Annika:
Barely talked with me at the first day, but as the week progresses I had more chances to talk to her and we found out that we have some nice same interests :D Dubstep, playing games ( yes she is a girl!!) and we both dont like onions on cheeseburgers o.O

We have on the left side the usual crowd and on the right side... The new exchange students :D
Those are the three guys I talked most right now. The others are not bad, I havent got talked that much with them yet.. I feel bad for Mira, Erik and Lucia since I didnt really met them since the new guys came.. I will try to find a balance between them, they are still important for me.. Its soo funny that I got more friends here in Torquay in these 4 month than in my entire life in Berlin.. Okay maybe its because I was a bit shy but now everything changed..

Ezio Florian :D

Nice japanese food :D

Whatever this face is called :D

Back In Torquay

The two and a half week passed very quickly and without noticing I found myself in Torquay again.. Time sure flew by.. How do I feel right now? Well after two days back in Torquay everything feels so usual like the three month before, but the first night here was really weird. My beloved friends bought me to the Tegel airport in Berlin and after a one hour journey with the plane I arrived in London Healthrow. I met Paul and Vincent again and we waited for other Whitehouse students. After gathering everyone up we travelled four more hours with the bus to Torquay where my hostmother was waiting for me. I packed my stuff out and thought about my upcoming 180 days here.. And yes I counted the days... 6 month to go..

Discovered a new place :3
On the second and third day I found myself surprisingly in a English pub again. I spend way to much money there the past few days but it was worth it. :D I got to know some English guys from my school and they are really really nice. I think I will meet them more often now, I really hope so :D

Cider Press :D
Besides that I had my first schoolday today, it was amazing to see my international friend again :D
There was also an announcement about new exchange students arriving today, so I got very curious about it..  We got a French one and several German ones... More Germans, yay!! -.-"
I didnt met them yet, I really hope that they are cool.. So tomorrow I will meet them and carry on my school life in England :3

Thanks for bringing me :D

Beautiful isnt it? :)

Soo natural :3

Home, Sweet Home

Its been already one week since I arrived at Berlin. Berlin - My hometown where I used to belong.
What have I done so far? I met some friends, ate all the food I like and relaxed at home. At the first day it was quite unusual to be at home. My bed is suddenly so small and the view of the window in my room isnt the same.

Berlin Kudamm :D
I dont know why but in some perspectives I prefer Torquay. There is no rush, the people are a lot more friendly than here in Berlin and there are more beautiful landscapes.. I asked my friends how they are going on with their A-Levels, they are working hard and getting good marks but I cant really imagine to come back here to Berlin after this exchange year and work as hard as they do. I got way to lazy in Torquay and the best would be to graduate there since I only got A and B marks in my subjects but my parents wont allow this... Unfortunately I dont have lots of time, so I will only upload some pictures of the food here and write a bigger one back in Torquay. Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Farewell, My Fellas

Sitting in the sixth form room, dont know what to write, dont know what to feel...
Its gone so quickly, I will return to Berlin in 15 hours... I was so happy two weeks ago but now I cant feel anything.. Except sorrow.. I made so many good friends here and now I should leave them? I know its only for three weeks but the imagination that we have to seperate all in a half year is really really difficult to imagine.. I mean three of my good friends here are leaving Torquay forever. They are staying in Germany after Christmas.. And its really sad.. We had yesterday a really nice farewell evening with them.. 14 people came and we ate first at the Chinese restaurant Oriental Touch, then we went down to the beach for some fun :)

All of my good friends :)
I was so sad to say goodbye to them.. But I cant change it.. Everything comes to an end. Thats also a reason why I didnt wrote blog for such a long time.. I wanted to spend every free minute with them.. But thats not the only reson, I was also sick... I had fever, and I somehow catched a cold.... Then the internetconncetion of my hostmum broke, so I lied in my bed, ill, without internet... Greaaatt...-.-

Farewell evening.. :(
But I am feeling great now, full of energy but I still cant believe that I will go tomorrow... Im gonna miss my friends here for sure... I will have a nice evening with the internationals, then Paul will come over to my place and we will play the night through until we have to go to the coach station at 4:30...-.- What kind of sourcery is this?! So early in the morning...-.- My plane is leaving at 13:30 and I will be finally in Berlin at 15:30 :D
Its gonna be amazing, I cant wait.... All the food, all my friends, all the old locations I used to go when Im bored... :D So.. I will also write blog while I am in Berlin ;) I think its really amazing how my blog developed.. :D I have about 2300 visitors, most from Germany and England but also a lot from America and some minorities from China, Sweden, Poland, Spain and Ukraine :D

Party hard ;)
Sooo... My beloved friends.. See you in three weeks again and to Kayley, Sebastian and Laura.. I hope I will see you soon again, I wish you everything good in the future!!! :)

My beloved Mira <3 :)

Gonna miss you, Kayley :(

Surprise Party

Lucia had birthday on Wednesday, so Mira and I decided to arrange something big for her because she turned 18.. o.O We had some different thoughts but in the end we had the best idea ever..!!
So, we planned to make a surprise party for Lucia at my place. It was soo awesome but let me tell you every detail :)

Happy Birthday Lucia :D
First I asked my hostmum if its possible to celebrate her birthday at my place and she agreed which is really impressive in my opinion.. I mean she even allowed us to drink some alcohol :O So we asked close friends of Lucia here and they all agreed.. The preparation was really exhausting.. I asked Kevin to buy me champaign and Cider but it didnt worked at the first time.. We went to Tesco and I helped Kevin to carry the alcohol. Unfortunately the cashier wanted to see our IDs.. Kevin is obviously 18 but I didnt expected that they want to see my ID as well.. So I pretended that I forgot my ID but it didnt worked.. They didnt wanted to sell us the alcohol because we were in a "group" and everyone has to be 18.. Bullshit... Really.... That pissed me off the whole day...-.- So I told Kevin what I exactly wanted and he went to the same Tesco after some time again... First and most important thing done... I also bought lots of soft drinks, sweets and every other utility you need to make the party roll :D

Only the half of the things I bought..
The day came nearer and nearer and without realizing it was Friday. I stood up in the morning, cleaned my room and went to school. We also prepared a cake and a birthday card for her, with a little text and Happy Birthday written in different languages.. There was only one question.. How could we get Lucia to my place without her noticing that something is going on? Mira had the idea to pretend that we would do math at my place.. To be honest, I didnt thought it was a great idea but it worked :D She is so naiv, thats kinda cute :D
So, after school Mira went with Lucia home first and I went home with all the guests. Oh right, I didnt mentioned the guests.. Let me quickly list all the persons who were invited: Mira, Tora, Erik, Lisa, Hannah, Peter, Sterre, Jimmy :) We hided everything suspicious and after Mira and Lucia arrived I opened the door and led them into my room where everybody was hiding... Lucia entered my room and everybody jumped out and screamed happy birthday!!! :D

Champaign! :D
Her face was so hilarious and she was speechless... :D
We talked a lot, had a lot of fun and the most important thing - Lucia was happy :)
We ordered pizza from Pizza Hut for dinner and luckily we got a 40% discount because our bill was larger than 35 Pounds.. :3 After eating pizza and cake we went back to my room and somehow we started to snuggle :D We snuggled a long time while hearing some really enjoyable music.. It was soo good.. :D The time flew by and without noticing it was eleven o clock.. Time for everybody to leave.. I went to Eriks place for sleepover, we talked a bit and went to bed then... Amazing day really.. :D Can happen anytime again in my opinion :D Oh right, by the way, the countdown is on..!! Only 10 days left until Berlin :D

Awesome start in a day..

Its getting darker and darker in the morning.. :(

10 People on my bed? No problem ;)

The first step to groupsnuggeling.. Someone lies on the ground :D

And the rest lies on the person :D
Dont ask me why I am so red here..-.-
Jonas friends visited him for some days and brought him a .. Döner :D

We have 9° here right now.. o.O

3 Month Recap

Here we go. Three month in Torquay, six to go :D
Its so hard to imagine that I am already 90 days here. Without my family, without my German friends..
So many things changed in these 90 days... I gained a lot of new friends from whole over the world, I improved my English a lot, I learned so much about the English way of life and I started to live on my own without my family.

Torquay, England, some landscape pictures :D
I can still remember the first day. I arrived at the airport, stoked, didnt knew anyone around the airport and started to talk to people who are also from my organisation. With most of them I kept the friendship, its so incredible... They are so amazing its like we have been friends since ages. I am sure that I will keep the friendship even after this year!! :)
Some of them are leaving Torquay forever after Christmas, which is kinda sad.. Florian got the opportunity to go to America for the rest of the year and of course he would like to but its not sure whether he is going or not. I hope he wont go but of course I want the best for him since he is a really close friend of me..
I also heard that Westlands will get some new exchange students after Christmas, so I am really exited to meet them.. Christmas is also coming, the christmasmarket in Berlin are already opened and I wanna go there soo bad... 16 More days until home.. Cant wait.. :D

Dinner at my hostmums place.
There is nothing really happen here in Torquay, after school I am always in town or in the gym and in the weekends I barely go to Exeter or Plymouth anymore because I lack on money...-.- I spend way to much here, I have only 50 Pounds left until Christmas.. So I have to spare my money... Lucia has birthday on Wednesday, she will turn 18!!! :D Which also means... Nevermind :D I will give you report about this some days later :)

Nero after school :)

Is that a fire? Or only smoke? o.O
